At Yellow Dog Services, Inc. we love trees and use our experience, training, and knowledge to gently sculpt your land and improve your views while "Opening Your Land to Enjoyment."

We own our own equipment and utilize newer, high horsepower Bobcat equipment and many powerful attachments to get the job done. We carry workman's comp and commercial liability insurance and hold all necessary permits and follow ISA standards for proper tree care.

We specialize in 1 to 10 acre tracts but can handle larger cedar clearing and mulching jobs or technically challenging oak wilt removals.

Our machines are compact but capable and that allows us to work in between trees and often in tight quarters. The above picture depicts our mulching service but we can also cut and chip or remove trees by the roots or grind stumps to 16" below grade for foundations, roads, etc. An excavator can remove trees and brush surgically without pushing up a lot of dirt. Soil disturbance is minimized when compared to bulldozing. We can strategically place boulders, logs, trench, and demolish structures with an excavator.

We can mulch standing trees but specialize in mulching brush piles and removing or grinding stumps left over from other clearing. We started mulching in 1999, long before most of our competitors.

We can create mulch roads and trails utilizing old brush, stumps, and trees as an alternative to caliche and base or as an alternative to having to drive in the mud. We have been doing this for years to minimize erosion on trails and paths.The first road below has been used for years on a weekend ranch and recently had some new brush added to it.

The second picture above was a rough trail up a steep hill that was mulched with cedar to make it easier for horses and ATV's to use while slowing erosion.
